I am looking forward to Bobby Zamora's. Provisional title "Shut the **** Up!" ("Ssssshhhh!" in United States)

SuperMac is a good read as well, tells a football and a life story and all the ups and downs of his football and personal life. I'd also recommend George Cohen's and, for fun, Simon Morgan's autobiographies

Cascarino's book is worth a read - very honest

Paul Parkers book was quite good. Extensive section on Fulham although he got one or two bits wrong re his second spell.

I'd add Paul McGrath's autobiography Back From The Brink to that list...... A quality read about life at the top and bottom of the game.

Without a doubt Roy!!!!! You could combine keegan adams, tigana and macdonald and not get close to roy. Just hope capello dpesnt leave england after the world cup or i think we could see roy on his way :(

We are holding our own at a level of football that would have seemed unthinkable only a few years ago, that speaks volumes in itself, and based upon this Roy must be adjudged to hold the title.I do wonder though, what would Malcolm MacDonald have achie…

Keegan? Er no! Spent a fortune (the only way he can succeed anywhere), and still the standard wasn't that great. Macdonald's brand of of football was sublime. I went to 2 of the Liverpool games in the Milk Cup in th early 80s (Dalglish, Souness, Han…

Best manager i have seen in the past 40+years at the cottage without a doubt, real quality we are just so lucky with have him with us,a true leader who gets the very best out of the team dispite our horrendous injury list.

Ive had a little think about this mate and ive decided that you are quite right!
February 26
I think the highest finish in the Prem get's Roy the title.
February 26
I think the most important peak and game a manager has taken us to is the FA cup final. I think Hodgson would need to play a major final to be awarded that title 100%

hi Paul,
live on the gold coast, left England 14 years ago used to live in Epsom but was originally from Morden not far from Tooting, were you closer to Bec or Broadway. Dad and i used to catch the 93 bus every other Saturday to Putney Bridge and then walk through the park to the ground, I've had a lot of great memories and you never know i might get back there one day (it would be a dream to see the lilly whites just one more time). i watched them play Gold Coast Utd last year when they were on tour but it's not the same as being at the Cottage. All the best for the new year, Steve Kantor

You are right there, we played crap that night and were lucky to get the late goal, but who cared at the time just to finally get to Wembley.

Not a chance, there are a few who in front, Zamora, Schwarzer, Duff.

The goals against us in Turin were all conceded through our mistake, we could take heart from that.
